BIG NEWS! Russ Barenberg's song "Little Monk", from his album When at Last (Compass Records), has been nominated for a Grammy in Best Country Instrumental Performance! I engineered and mixed that album earlier this year. Congrats Russ!

Also nominated: Tony Trischka's "Double Banjo Bluegrass Spectacular" album (Rounder Records) for Best Bluegrass Album. I recorded 4 songs on that album. Congrats to Tony!

I'm a recording and live sound engineer based in Nashville, TN where I've lived since 1999. I work out of and manage a Pro Tools based studio owned by Compass Records, where I have recorded dozens of albums with artists such as the Little River Band, Trisha Yearwood, Alison Brown, John Doyle, Shooter Jennings, Liz Carroll, Drew Emmitt, the Waifs and many more. I also tour as a front-of-house (FOH) engineer for Alison Brown, as well as Crooked Still, the Infamous Stringdusters, and the Roadhammers.

In my spare time (huh??) I like to fly radio-controlled model airplanes, grill in my backyard, golf and mountain bike.
