In 1997 when I lived in Iowa I formed a blues band named "Big E & the Killer B's". I was obviously "Big E" (a nickname from where I worked at the time), and the other two members were named Brian - hence, "The Killer B's". But soon after we formed a legendary guitar slinger in town named Al joined our band, so we changed the name to "The Killer Bee's". We enjoyed a number of months of playing together and had a great time, but disbanded in 1999 when I moved to Phoenix to attend school.

Just recently, earlier this year, we had a reunion of sorts. The bass player Brian and Al flew to Nashville for some R n R, we went into the studio with a drummer friend of mine, David Heyer, and an engineer friend of mine, John Bohn, and had a laid back awesome day in the studio recording some old songs and just having some fun. Unfortunately, we weren't able to locate drummer Brian. If you're out there drop us a line!!

Here are some pics from that session, and also some MP3's. All MP3's are copyright their original writers.

Enjoy!!
