On my way home!

Well I'm almost home! On a plane just about to
Nashville from Newark, NJ. I left Portlaoise, Ireland
this morning at 5am. I'm very much looking forward to
my own bed, and some down time in my home. I think a
cold bottle of wine and a movie is in store for
tonight. The World Fleadh festival this past weekend
was very nice. They put the performers up in the
Heritage Hotel, which was beautiful, and everyone
involved with the festival was great. Our bus driver
was named Dave O'Brien, and he was the only driver
with a bus license, so he was busy! He picked us up
in Dublin on Friday morning, and dropped us off in
Shannon on Sunday morning (remember we left at 5am!).
A highlight for me was finally seeing Salsa Celtica
play, with my friend Eamonn Coyne playing banjo. Wow!
What a band! 15 pieces with full horns, percussion
players, flutes, whistles, piano, bass - you name it!
Huge sound and very tight. Well, we're on our final
descent, and I'm excited! Until next time...
